For acrylic paints, dilute with water.
For enamel paints, dilute with white spirit.
20% solution (1:4) - an economical option suitable for fresh paint
30%-40% solution (3:7 or 2:3) - universal solution for fresh or a few days old paint
50% solution (1:1) - suitable for older or thick paint layers
