US Navy & USMC Aircraft Colors 1945-1980 SET - RCS117
Set of lacquer paints
The Real Colors paint set contains three standard camouflage colors that are indispensable for painting US Navy and Marine Corps aircraft models used from the end of World War II through the early 1980s. Dark Sea Blue was the standard overall color until the mid-1950s, when the Navy adopted the two-tone scheme of Light Gull Grey and Insignia White. Beginning in 1977, fighter aircraft on aircraft carriers, such as the F-14 Tomcat and F-4 Phantom II, were gradually repainted in a monochromatic Light Gull Grey scheme.
It can be thinned with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners based on the same.
